Rice Table@ Orchard

The last time the alpha babes caught up was during Chinese New Year period. On 9 June, after church service the week before, we arranged to meet up at Rice table on that day. It was an evening of fellowship, great food and good company of the girls. We knew each other while serving in Alpha at BSC. This year, both Ana and Germaine went back to serve Alpha. I had to give Alpha a miss as I am still attending my Daff course.

Located at Orchard, #02-09/10 at International Building, it was a convenient place for all of us. A cosy restaurant where service was good.

Indonesian Chicken Soup

While waiting for Germaine, both of us ordered the chicken soup. The soup was slightly diluted, not much chicken meat in it.

With all 20 dishes to select, we had the buffet dinner priced at $28.49 nett per person. The dishes include Chicken soup; Fried Fish in spicy sweet sauce, grilled chicken, Tahu Telor, Indonesian Fruit Salad, Prawns in spicy coconut sauce, vegetables stewed in coconut gravy, pickled cucumber, Otak, Fried chicken, spicy curry chicken, spicy beef stew, spicy fried kangkong, potato corn fritter, spicy fried anchovies, Brinjal in soy sauce, satay,Tofu in curry sauce, sotong Asam.

What's buffet without dessert. We each had a bowl of Durian Chendol. It was delicious. Rich and sinful, thankfully we only eat this once a while.
