Black Angus Steakhouse

 Black Angus Singapore opened its first doors outside the USA at Orchard Parade Hotel in November 1997. We always enjoyed the steak and the desserts at Black Angus. This is probably my 4th visit with Anthony. Here we are on Valentine's day 14 Feb 2015, after his Legion meeting. Service was slow, however the good thing  was there was no need for reservations and no inflation of food prices on this special day.

Our meals came with a bowl of soup and 2 sides which in our case is 2 servings of vegetables.

I look forward to the weekends. That's when I truly spend quality time with Anthony who has a busy schedule on weekdays with work and Legion matters and at times Legion meetings on weekends. Hence I cherish our meals together.

Kintamani

Located at Furama Hotel, Kintamani offers a spread of Indonesian food. I usually visit the place when we have 1-1 promotions.  This round, I had dinner with Janice using the birthday promotion vouchers.
Established since 1985, relish the best in Halal Indonesian cuisine over a delectable buffet spread as well as a savoury a la carte menu at Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant.
 A quiet and cosy place, I enjoy dining here.

Old Street Bak Kut Teh

Tugged in a corner of Funan Mall, we chanced upon Old Street Bak Kut Teh. We were intrigued by the self service ipad menus, condiments, utensils in the drawers where we were seated. Indeed an innovative way to solve manpower issue. 
 Lunch on Saturday for Anthony and Pat
Hubby ordered the set menu which included the youtiao, liver with rice and dessert. I ordered the Bak Kut Teh with Mee Sua.

 Meat was tender
Have it when youtiao is freshly delivered to the table. Once left long in the open, it is not as crispy.
