Peony Jade @ Keppel Club that was the place we celebrated Peichin birthday as a group with KC and William. An enjoyable dinner with an excellent chinese dishes. We enjoyed ourselves. Kok Choong, Peichin and Pat (Friends for over a decade)

Stewed Seasonal Greens with Abalone Jus

Usually for chinese dinner, we will usually order a vegetable dish. I guess the word Abalone caught the attention for this dish. Tasty vegetables for starters.

Soup of the day - with dates and figs
This bowl of soup is delicious, feels energized after drinking the soup. Can compete with the soup at Soup Restaurant.

Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts

Chicken was tender and it's always nice tasting the Cashew Nuts

Emu with Black Pepper Sauce

This dish was slightly spicy due to the pepper added to the Emu which was slightly tough.

Marinated Smoke Duck

Spring Roll

Braised Beancurd with Brown Sauce

Chilled Tomate with Plum Jus

This has to be the favourite dish among all of us. We ordered 3 plates of this dish. The manager informed us that the tomoates were imported from US. It's the plum sauce that makes the tomatoes so addictive.

Steamed Barramundi with Minced Chili & Garlic

Shark's Fin Soup with Hand Peeled Fresh CrabmeatNorwegian Salmon Sashimi -Equally portion - 2 slices each for the 4 of us.

Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab 'Thai' Style

Braised Whole Ablaone with Mushrooms & Seasonal Greens -my favourite dish - abalone and mushroom.

For the a la carte buffet, the above 5 dishes come in 1 serving. They include the Norwegian Salmon Sashimi, shark's fin soup, abalone, soft shell crab and the soon hock fish.

Deep Fried Whole Soon Hock Fish Soya Sauce - Fresh & Tasty

Sauteed Prawns with Wasabi Mayo & Caviar

Our Favourite Dish - Tomoates

Desserts - Chiled Sea Cocounut, Hot Cream of Red Bean, Chilled Mango Sago, Chilled Longan Tofu

Chilled Longan Tofu - refreshing and light, better than the mango sagoChilled Mango Sago

William, Kok Choong, Pat and Peichin

We had an enjoyable dinner. The restaurant manager Mr Francis Lee came over to our table and spoke to us. He also mentioned that it was good we were having the buffet at a relaxed pace and he could see we were enjoying ourselves. He also mentioned that the restaurant offers tim sum buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I love exploring food and it is one way of catching up with friends. Singapore has lots of great food places and with great company of friends, look out for more food postings.
