Jack's Place

We decided to have a meal at Jack's place Bras Basah in the month of September after I redeemed $40 Jack's Place dining vouchers in the month of August. Cosy environment, and food was good.
We took the set which included a drink, main course and dessert.

Steak with baked potato

Fire Pit

Located at 69 Kampung Bahru Road, we chanced upon Firepit, Singapore's first eatery to cook with an open fire pit.
Roasted King Prawns served with sourdough
Tender juicy lamb cutlet - awesome presentation

Yabby Delight with potato salad - wood-fired oven smoked crayfish served with thai herbs, spices and burnt lemon
Overall the food is good, however we weren't full had to adjourn somewhere for dessert. The pricing is not cheap too just for 3 dishes. If you are open to an authentic meal, you can explore this place.

Peppermint

Located at Parkroyal Marina Bay, this was our first time to Peppermint, thanks to HSBC Wow 1-1 promotion. The Ala Carte Buffet was $65++ per adult. For the month of October, the theme was Forgotten dishes of Hong Kong for the ala carte buffet. As the dishes are rotated daily, the long list on the menu is actually quite limited on a daily basis.

No guesses who loves her Sashimi - 2 bowls of salmon sashimi

Kowloon Wall City Claypot Duck
Stir-Fried Prawns

Anthony's bowls of ice-cream
It was an enjoyable meal exploring a new place with 1-1 promotion. Definitely love the greenery of the hotel which gives a zen feeling. We will definitely be back to check out the other restaurants in the hotel.
