Twelve Apostles

The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.
Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction.  Be amazed how the limestone stacks rise dramatically from the Southern Ocean.

Currently there are eight apostles left, the ninth one of the stacks collapsed dramatically in July 2005.

The apostles were formed by erosion - the harsh and extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually eroded the soft limestone to form caves in the cliffs, which then became arches, which in turn collapsed; leaving rock stacks up to 50 metres high.

Apollo Bay

Apollo Bay is midway along the majestic Great Ocean Road, in the shelter of Cape Otway and on the lowest slopes of the beautiful Otway ranges. Here we are having our set lunch meal.

A simple lunch - the food was ordinary. Pack of the tour package which we paid the lunch portion. We were more excited on seeing the 12 Apostles.

Great Ocean Road (1)

The Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometres stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford.
The start of our day trip on our great ocean road adventure

Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the world's largest war memorial.

Crown Plaza Melbourne (Food Court)

This plate of noodles is around $12

After a day trip at Yara Valley, by the time we reached back to our short stay apartment, it was already dinner time. Feeling tired, we decide to walk to Crown Plaza Melbourne. It  is located on the banks of the Yarra River opposite Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centres, just 5 minutes' drive from the central business district. We went to the food court for dinner. Pricy food.

Yerning Farm

Our third location for wine tasting is Yering Farm, a little boutique number in the wine drinking district of Yering.  A lovely, quaint little winery housed in an old barn.
The wines are great to have a sip.

Fruit Carving Class in Bali

The is the end product of water melon craving produced by our instructor. As always whenever we go to Bali, there are always classes we sign up more. This round is knowing more about our fruits. It was a tedious class that the 2 hour seemed like eternity.
Each of us were handed a watermelon

 Making the 2 pedals
Carving the petals of the flowers- that is challenging. The way one holds the knife has an impact to the shape of the fruit.
