Pirom Cafe (Khao Yai)

Located in Khao Yai, I was amazed at the sights of Pirom Café which consists of an angular hedge maze and a stunning view of the lake.
 Such a beauty
Pity we could not stay long nor have a drink at the café as we had an appointment at PB valley at 2.30pm.
Do indulge in this place if you have the time - a scheduled area in the midst of the great outdoors
 Get lost in the maza

Having fun at the maze
Picture Postcard - sit back and enjoy the view
You could play hide and seek with this maze

The Bloom (Khao Yai) Part 2

After immersing ourselves with the beauty of the flowers, we started to explore the place.
Sheep feeding time. Sheep seem so starved that they all came towards us at the sight of the grass we held in our hands.

Lunch time - Do not disturb me.

Laos Puan Khao (Khao Yai)

Khao Yai has been on my travel bucket list for the past 2 years, just that the people around me were not keen to go. I had friends who have visited Khao Yai - itineraries were shared with  me. In addition I had also read the blog posts. This year after our BKK trip in March, Joan and I decided we shall visit Khao Yai. It was a 6 day trip of Khao Yai and Bkk. We engaged a Klook driver and Joan planned the itinerary. We were also mindful of our budget as the prices for accommodation were higher at Khao Yai compared to BKK. There were also admission charges to pay for the places we planned to visit.
It was an early morning flight at 7.40am on 4 October. On arrival we were greeted by Klook representatives who contacted our driver. We were mentally prepared for the 3.5hour drive from BKK to Khao Yai. We shared with the driver the places we plan to visit, he modified the itinerary as he had a better understanding of the distance to the places.
 Refreshing Drinks

Lunch place recommended by our Klook Driver. A simple lunch at least to take a rest from the long drive. Thereafter it was time to visit the places we had planned for the day.
 Vegetables
 Glass Noodles
 Papaya Salad with Salted eggs
 Fish cakes just average

 Seemed like a classroom setting
