Cherry Garden - Mandarin Oriental

Food is always enjoyed with great company. For mum's birthday celebrations this year, I invited Linda to join us for lunch. Both of them celebrate their birthdays in the month of August. Mum and Linda have been friends for many years. It was a coincidence that I happened to work in the same place with Linda a few years ago.

Cherry Garden located at Mandarin Oriental has exciting menus of Cantonese cuisine, presented with artistic modern flair. We had the set lunch for that day.

Nara Thai Cuisine

 Located at Ion, we finally managed to visit Nara restaurant which offers Thai cuisine. Worth a visit.

Tulips Flower Dome

After our lunch at Pollen in April, it was free entry to Flower Dome. One can imagine my happiness just being in sight with flowers especially tulips. It was a leisurely stroll in the gardens - a place I frequent whenever there is a change of the display of flowers.

 Here we are at Pollen before visiting Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay to see the Tulips in April. Definitely a memorable experience. Great food with amazing presentation and cosy ambience. We had the 3 course Lunch.

National Day Lunch

Trust the event organizer to be up to her mischief. Instead of just letting it be an ordinary public holiday doing nothing, what better way to celebrate National Day then host potluck lunch at our place. Both Anthony and I invited  a few of friends to our place for lunch. It was certainly a delicious meal of local delights and great way to catch up with friends.

Lunch was really special, as this round Anthony cooked 3 dishes, with Pat helping to get the ingredients. The dishes are the grilled chicken, mussels and Greek salad. ( I think he inherited the cooking skills from his dad).
