Ellenborough Market Cafe

It's been ages since we stepped into Ellenborough Market Cafe. When the HSBC 1-1 Wow deals came up, I booked 26 April for lunch and brough mum there. It's been ages since mum had a buffet so something different for her. At this place, we placed the order and the staff will deliver the dishes to us. The portions are small, but this gives us the opportunity to try different variety of dishes.

At $58++ for 1-1 it was a good deal. We enjoyed ourselves and we actually skipped dinner that day. It was also good bonding time with mum.

 

Tambuah Mas

It's been a while since we had Indonesian food. However it was the Ramadan month and break fast  timing for dinner. I could not make any reservations. Imagine our delight when we managed to get a place at Tambuah Mas located at Great World City.

Kranji Mashes

Here we are at Kranji Mashes on 30 April 2022. We were contemplating whether to go see the mashes praying the weather stays cool and not rain. Hence after lunch, we took the MRT from orchard to Kranji. We managed to catch the shuttle bus which took another 30 minutes before we reached Kranji Mashes. By then it was already 3pm.

Be prepared to walk for around 30minutes before you reach the main area called the Mash Station. There you will see the Raptor Tower for a spectacular view of the nature. It's a place for bird lovers and those who love wildlife and nature.

Nature in Singapore

We certainly enjoyed ourselves. I love being with nature and this is one of those days I had the luxury of being away from work - rightfully so it the labour day weekend. 

 

Rose Veranda

Here we are at Rose Veranda a week before Easter having our lunch. I was working on easter Sunday hence a pre celebration meal with hubby. We also had some points to offset. We enjoyed our lunch at Rose Veranda located at Shangri-la. 

Signature Sandwiches comprising apple smoked chicken with caramelized peaches and tart, truffle egg sliders, Nova Scotia lobster and Mentaiko Shrimp Rolls and  Blue crab with smoked salmon cheddar melts.
