Nando - 3 March 2011

Pat & Thiru at Nando - 3 March 2011
The menus of Nando

Tucked at a corner of Bugis Junction was Nando, which is famous for its Peri-Peri Chicken in Singapore. It is located at #01-85/87. Thiru and I met up for dinner on a Thursday Night. Quite a popular place, we had to stand in queue for at least 15 min. The tables were packed close to each other, hence it can be quite a squeeze and we couldn't talk that loudly. The staff were friendly and it was good service.

We ordered and shared the 2 dishes. They included Chicken kebab with coleslaw and fries. The other dish was Chicken Pita and grilled vegetables.

Chicken Kebab

4 sticks of chicken kebab with fries and coleslaw. The Kebab was tasty, slightly a little tough though. I recalled my friend who was searching for Kebab when we were on our Turkey Trip. It must have tasted better in Turkey. The fries were pretty addictive, that was the first side dish that was completed first among the 3 side dishes.

Chicken Pita

The chicken Pita was delicious, slightly spicy, the chicken blended well with the Pita bread. It would have been better if the Pita bread was steaming hot. Nevertheless, a dish to consider.

Chocolate Tiramisu

We ordered the chocolate Tiramisu for our dessert. Great presentation when it was served to us. However it tasted more like cheese cake than Tiramisu. It lacked the moistness and softness of the cake.

Had an enjoyable dinner and it ws great catching up with Thiru.
