Paradise Inn - 13 March 2011

Pat and Peichin with dinner dishes at Paradise Inn - 13 March 2011

One of the simple things in life is keeping in touch with friends. Nothing beats a good meal with great company. Peichin and I have explored lots of food places together. If this food blog was started much earlier, I bet it would have captured more food places. I am thankful for my great pal Peichin is who has been a awesome friend and is always game to try new food places. Nothing beats a two way communication face to face, which at times can be quite lacking for people who chooses to communicate only via email. They don't know what they are missing out.

Located at #B3-39/40 at 313@ Somerset, Paradise Inn is a 3-in-1 casual dining concept which offers classic Cantonese and local cuisine.a refreshing and invigorating selection of floral and herbal infused teas and last but not least, complete your culinary experience here with highly sought after ‘tong shui'. We opted for the local cuisine that was tasty and delicous.

Classy set of plates

Crisp-fried shrimp paste chicken

A dish of 6 pieces of chicken. Crisphy soft and delicious. The shrimp paste added to the flavour. When eaten hot, the flavour and the tenderness of the chicken simply makes one crave for more. We were too full at the end of dinner. We managed to pack 2 pieces of chicken for home. My mum enjoyed the supper.

Braised Crispy noodle with chicken and mushroom

If we didn't order the dish, we may have room for other stuff. Overall I found this dish tasteful, but it may be better with just crispy noodle. The chicken and mushroom didn't blend as well especially when the dish is left longer, the noodles became moist.

Braised tofu with seafood and pork floss in mini-wok

Something unique. This is the first time I had tofu with pork floss. Delicous.

Pat with the dishes

Sweet & Sour Pork with lychee
My favourite dish has to be this dish. The sweet and sour pork is crunchy and mixture of vegetables.

Stewed egg with custard and Mango Sago
Both of us will always have space for dessert, no matter how full we are. Some would say we gals have a separate compartment. We love the desserts there.

We always have space for dessert

Delicous Mango Sago

A delightful sunday evening with great food and company. Looking forward to exploring more food places. This year I seem to be visiting lots of chinese restaurants.

  3. I think that's the best way of catching up with friends: by means of great lunch or dinner!
The other day I organized a great meal in my apartment for rent Buenos Aires and everybody loved it!
