Sol & Luna

Tucked in the lush environment of CapitaSpring’s Green Oasis with sky-high city views, Sol & Luna was where we had our Anniversary Dinner that evening. Food was delicious and it was indeed a tranquil view to wind down and relax.
Wood Fried Sardine - wrapped in parma ham with butternut puree. This dish must try, very unique.
Asparagus - our greens for the day
Welsh Lamb Shoulder on the bone - nicely plated
Baked veal shank pie - i love the dish I chose, with the baked pastry covering the bowl.
We had a complimentary slice of cake - which blended with the plate.

We took a walk around the garden after dinner. It was a lovely anniversary day for both of us.

Wedding Anniversary Lunch Gordon Grill

We celebrated our wedding anniversary on 3rd January 2023 at Gordon Grill, one of my personal favourite dining places. In fact, this is the second time we had our wedding lunch here. Lots of memories at Gordon Grill. The food and service are good and definitely a cozy environment to celebrate special occasions.
Complimentary Welcome Drinks - Thank you

The big on small set lunch on weekdays is always the highlight for me. The choices of the food are amazing. We had the four course which included appetizer sampler (3 choices), soup sampler, main course and dessert sampler (2 choices)

Anthony had the chilled pasta, duck foie gras and garlic snails
I had the hokkaido scallop, duck foie gras and garlic snails
Soup sampler - Lobster bisque, cream of mushroom and soup du jour
We both had the beef tenderloin

Desserts we both selected the chocolate truffle mousse cake, and Anthony had lingonberries crumble tart with vanilla ice cream while I had the raspberry cheesecake with mango cake with panna cotta ice-cream.
Thanks for the slice of cake
Desserts with coffee and tea.

Always an enjoyable dining experience and memories to cherish. Happy Anniversary to Pat and Anthony.

Jurong Bird Park

On 29 December 2022, I caught up with my good friend Laura with her kids and parents and we headed to Jurong Bird Park to see the birds for the last time before they move to the new location in Mandai. It was time well spent with nature and in great company.
Onboard the tram ride
Waiting for the tram

We managed to catch a short glimpse of the penguins being fed
The first stop to see the penguins
After the tram ride, we managed to see the bird show, we were at the last row, kudos to my camera for this shot,
Birds, do you want to sing me a song?

We enjoyed the sights of the bird and the walk around Jurong Bird Park. Till we meet again birds in Mandai.
