Crystal Jade Kitchen

                                                               Soya Bean Drink ( $1.60)
Always a joy exploring different food places. For this weekend Sunday lunch (28 October 2012), mum and I visited Crystal Jade Kitchen at Great world City located at #03-30. This place was slightly noisy and service and be slow. I wonder does the location affect the service level. The other time we visited Jack's Place at Great World City, the service was also slow.
 Egg Tarts ($3.50)
Meat Ball Congee for mum ($6.90)
Century Egg Congee for Pat ( $6.80)
The congee was diluted and the ingredients in in my bowl could have been more. More worthwhile having the plate of noodles.
 Red Bean Paste ( $3.30)
 Beancurd Skin ( $3.80)
 Siew Mai ($4.80)
A taste of Tim Sum

Lunch Time with a Taste of German Food

Salt Mine Berchtesgaden

On June 5, 2012, we had an exciting adventure with the underground Salt Mines. We explored the 500 year old underground Salt Mines on an electronic railway system in a traditional miner’s clothing in Salzburg. With the traditional miners' clothing, enter the mines and hear the legendary tales as well as historical tales of the fascinating underground world.
Our Mini Train ride

Be prepared to slide down a 100-foot-long slide into the grottos, the magical world beneath the surface of the earth. Then we hopped onto a raft ride on the salt lake and a miniature train ride whereby we ended our romantic and educational adventure. The tour was around 4 hours.

Breakfast at Casa Luna (Batam)

Both of Jenny and myself had a good night sleep at Mercure Hotel at Batam on 26 October 2012. That day, we had to battle the hot sun and the numerous shopping outlets which the guide brought us, was indeed tiring. Somehow I feel that the guide was more keen to earn the various commissions of the outlets he brought us. I for one, am never a shopping person. Hence perhaps which explained why I was so tired. The free day for us, we had more fun.
Breakfast time at Mercure hotel on 27 October 2012

Pat's plate of egg. This is one dish I love to eat for breakfast when I travel overseas.
2nd round for Pat - Fruit and Cereal
The food spread was pretty limited. Hence Pat did not really eat much for breakfast.

The service was slow and it takes a while to get the attention of the service crew.Yet, Jack's place is always known for its steak. Hence steak time it was for both mum and myself.
