Located at Level 3 at Fairmont Singapore, we had dinner at Szechuan Court on Thursday evening, 10 March 2011.
An oasis of charm and elegance, Szechuan Court is renowned for serving some of the finest Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine in Singapore. Complete with 200-year-old elm doors and a courtyard, have a taste of Szechuan and Cantonese food.
It was great catching up with Vanessa whom I met during my Cambodia trip in December 2009. It's been over a year since we saw each other. Thanks to Vanessa's Raffles card, we had 50% discount for our dinner.
Priced at $28, our poached vegetable dish was nicely done. Fresh and chewy vegetables, the suprior stock was just too addictive for us to savour. There was century egg, salted egg and the egg yolk that made up the 3 types of egg.
Braised e-fu noodles with dried scallop & Crabmeat
We ordered the small dish of braised e-fu noodle with dried scallop and crabmeat. Priced at $32, the portion was suffient for the two of us. The attentive staff served us by apportioning the servings. Slightly salty, the dried scallop and crabmeat added to the taste of the braised e-fu noodle.
Complimentary pineapple tarts

After dinner, we proceeded to Canele at Raffles City Shopping Mall for desserts. Located at #B1-46/47, canele is certainly a place of relaxation and to indulge in the sweet stuff.
