Watami@ION

After the first day course on 26 April at Royal Plaza on Scotts, I headed down to Ion to meet Su Ann for dinner. Watami was located at #B3-23. This was my 2nd Japanese dinning for 2 days in the row. It was lovely to catch up with Su Ann, my excolleague, also the proud mummy of 1 year old Lucas.  Come to think of it, our meet ups have always been at Japanese dinning places. No surprises that both of us love Japanese food.
 Salmon Carpaccio ($9.80)
Our appetizer dish with raw marinated salmon - thinly sliced

 Gyu Eringi Kushi ($5.80)
Mushroom that is grilled - tasty and can be quite addictive for more servings
 Wafu Steak ($12.80)
Su Ann's dish for dinner with rice. The meat was tender and juicy.
 Sukiyaki Nabe ( $15.80)
Pat had the beef hotpot with vegetables and soup. A light dish without rice. With the egg added to the soup, the dish was perfect for dinner.
