Zugspitze- Top of Germany

This day 2 June 2012, has to be the most memorable experience for me on the trip. Imagine being top of Germany (Zugspitze) (an awesome sight, also one of the reasons why I signed up for this package), visiting Oberammergau ( seeing the beauty of frescoes) and mesmerized by my favourite castle (Linderhof Castle). You just wish time stood still for that day, so that we have more time to soak in the sights. As a photographer, it was a day of beautiful pictures and fond memories with tour mates.

Follow me on this day, as I take you first to Zugspitze - Top of Germany.Zugspitze towers almost 3,000 metres above sea level. It was a unique 360 degrees panorama with over 400 peaks in 4 countries.

Situated just 300 metres below the summit is the Zugspitze Glacier which can be conveniently reached by means of the Glacier cable car, which we boarded.

Views taken from the cable car
As the cable car ascended, it was a steep ascent to the top.
Seeing this in person, and not in a movie - Lights, Camera and Action
 The mist and the beauty

Zugspitze's panoramic view from Pat's Camera
We went to the 4th level before viewing the 3rd level. Stay tuned to more of Zugspitze's adventures from the tour group :)
