3rd Level of Zugspitze

We proceeded to the 3rd level of Zugspitze. It's such an amazing view. From Germany's highest outlook, this one-of-a kind 360 degree panorama offers an overwhelming view across the international mountain world. The view is truly infinite. Open views in every direction almost 3,000 meters (9,843 feet) above sea level. The seemingly endless chains of snow-powdered peaks jut up into the sky like mighty stone saw blades.

The unmatched 360° panorama, I certainly was overwhelmed by the phenomenal visibility: In ideal weather conditions, one can see more than 400 peaks in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy at a distance of up to 250 kilometers (155 miles), all at once.

Here we are in Germany's highest church " Maria Heimsuchung". Blessed by today's Pope Benedict XVI, this close to heaven chapel invites you to a moment of reflection in the midst of the high-alpine mountain world.
