Suan Thai

Thai Salad

On 24 June, the travel kakis -Jeff, Ailing, Eunice,Cheryl, Gina & I met at Suan Thai for dinner. It was great meeting all of them - lots of travel stories to catch up on, especially on Eunice experience in Paris and Switzerland.

SuanThai, located at 101 Killiney Road, is a small cosy place. They have a buffet priced at $20.90++. Yet with all the add on like drinks at $3.50++ for calamasi and towels, each adult paid $30. The food was good, the spread was limited. I could not stand the fast pace serving, it was like we have to rush our food.

2 jugs of unlimited flow of drinks
 Spring rolls - not crispy

 Boneless Stuffed Chicken wings
Tom Yam Soup - Too spicy for Pat
 Chicken Wrapped in Pandan Leaves
Toufu - delicious - we ordered 2nd round of this dish
 Green Curry - Gina's favourite
 Vegetables with Oyster Sauce
Sweet & Sour Fish
 Thai Rice Crackers
 Pretty Cheryl
Desserts - Red Ruby (Pat's favourite- she had 2 bowls)
 Steamed Tapioca -Eunice's favourite
The gals in Singapore - Gina, Eunice, Pat & Ailing
The travel kakis dining together in Singapore - yes no german food for us

 Ailing & Pat
It was lovely meeting all of them. Thanks to Ailing and Jeff, we managed to check out the differences in tour prices and obtained a refund. We may catch up at the next travel fair. Stay in touch.
