City Square of Nuremburg

It was free time for us after our visit to Nuremburg Castle on 31 May 2012. Hence lunch time and to explore the city square.
Gina & I were with the sisters - Joyce and Jane. We initially headed to this restaurant for lunch where it was highly recommended by our tour guide. However the service was slow and we wanted to explore the city area, hence we decided to go for a quick bite of sandwiches.
Somehow we walked separate ways with the sisters and we ended up in a sandwich shop. I had the ham and cheese sandwich priced at 3 Euro. I have to admit this was my first and last sandwich for meals ( exclude the bread we have for breakfast). The bread was so hard, that it felt as though I was eating a hard stone bun. The desserts there were delicious.

Eating to be filled - Pat is hungry

The ice-cream in Germany is cheap. Gina saw a stall that sold movenpick ice cream at 80cents euro. The ice-cream at Italy is priced at 2.50 - 4 Euro. Pity this time I had to skip the ice-cream due to my cough.

Next we headed off to Rothenburg ob der Tauber - such a beautiful place.
