Located at #01-98/99 at vivo City, Peichin and I decided to explore Spanish food, hence we found ourselves at Serenity Spanish Bar & Restaurant on 13 June 2011. We were greeted by their Mediterranean-style ambience.This place is known for its authentic Spanish cuisine (tapas, paella etc). It also has a nice band that performs in the evenings.Serenity’s Three Piece Acoustic Band plays Spanish, Latin, Top 60s and 70s music. Serenity Acoustic Trio jams Monday to Saturday 7pm to 12 mid night with Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic Bass & Double Bass.

We opted for the Executive Set Lunch priced at $17.90 each. This included choice of entry, main course, ice cream and coffee/ tea

Braised Beef with chicken peas and carrots served with potatoes in Alioli SauceNice presentation. The beef was tender and the sauce complimented the beef. The potatoes were soft and very addictive, before one knew it, I finished off the potatoes before the beef.
Pan Fried Marinated Beer Chicken served with Mashed Potato & Diced VegetableIf you were wondering whether the chicken had beer before it was served, we did not seem to have a slightest taste of beer. The chicken was tender. They were generous with the portions of the mashed potato.

Ice cream - strawberry and chocolateNo guesses who is having the chocolate icre-cream. Yes Pat loves chocolate ice cream and cakes. However for chocolates, she stays away from them, for she will fall sick even just eating a piece of the chocolate. Yet she happily buys chocolates for her family and friends when she travels.
