The long Italian dinner - The Pork Chop that made us wait - 17 may 2011


On 17 May 2011, after a long shopping trip at Fox Town, we were all so exhausted. We were wondering why was that so, it was just shopping. One of our tour members commented cos we were walking aimlessly from one shop to another looking at the bags. Yet not all of us are into shopping. It was time to rest our tired legs.

Dinner was at Just Hotel. This was a slow dinner - now we know Singaporeans pace of life is really fast compared to that of the Italians.


Bread for the hungry people. I asked the lady for butter and she attended to my request with a smile. I was happily eating my bread and butter while we waited for the main course.


Our first course was paste - penne in tomata based. Nice. Usually we will have this as the main course. In Italy this is just the first dish.

Pork Chop with mash potato

This dish took almost an hour to be served. Pork Chop and mash potatoes. I was about to doze off to sleep while waiting for the pork chop that made us wait. 2 servings of the tender pork chop with mash potate, it was delicious. Just that by the time this dish was served, most of us were restless and sleepy.

We ate quickly and headed back to our hotel room to rest. It was 10pm by the time we got back and 11pm by the time we slept.
