Pat @ The Hand Burger for a meal
Loving bread and fast food (excluding the fries), it explains why I am able survive on meals in Europe / Australia with just the baguettes and burgers anytime.
When Su Ann, suggested visiting The Hand Burger for a meal, I decided to give the place a visit on 16th June 2011 with her. I was wondering why would people pay triple the price for a burger meal.
Grilled 150g of 100% NZ grass-fed beef topped with roasted pear, blue cheese, sweet onion jam, handmade barbeque sauce on a bed of baby spinach and a tomato on a toasted caramelised onion burger.
Grilled whole boneless duck leg confit in handmade orange sauce, baby snow pea sprouts, mandarin oranges on a bed of coral lettuce and a tomato on a toasted caramelised bun.
This was delicious, the duck leg confit was tender and the sauce was unique. The soup has to be one of the best mushroom soup that I have tasted. Thumbs up.
It was a delightful dining experience at The Hand Burger. It was also great catching up with Su Ann. Will definitely come back to try out the rest of the burgers.
