Black Canyon in Bangkok Airport

On Dec 4, 2011, both Edith and Pat met at 5am at Changi Airport to check in for our Jetstar flight at 7am. It was a smooth flight and we arrived in Bangkok Airport around 915am Thai Time. We had to do a transit to Changmai. Our next flight on AirFrance was at 350pm. Hence lots of waiting time at the airport.

Time to head for an early lunch. Both of us were hungry. There were several eateries at the airport. We chose to dine at Black Canyon. It was the Phad Thai that was the deciding factor.

Hot Green Tea for Edith ( 70 Baht)


Cool refreshing Lime Juice for Pat ( 85 Baht)


Yap, in need of an iced drink to quench the thirst


Lunch time

Both of us had Phad Thai which is stir-fried rice noodles with eggs and fish sauce, tamarind juice , bean sprouts, garnished with crushed peanuts, corinder and lime. It was delicious. Portion could be more.


Phad Thai at ( 160 baht - around $6)

Our Total bill was 522.50 Baht, around $21 for the above dishes and drinks.
