Lo Hei at Beng Thin Hoon Kee Restaurant - 16 February 2011

Participants from the Dinner

On 16th February 2011, members from Marketing Executives Group and Strategic Management Group from SIM had 2 tables  at Beng Thin Hoon Kee Resturant to celebrate the CNY festive period. Located at OCBC Centre at #05-02, Beng Thin Hoon Kee is known as one of the best and oldest hokkien restaurants in Singapore. We were certainly delighted with the spread of of food. The Chinese New Year menu consisted of 8 dishes.

Beng Thin Prosperity Yu-Sheng

Our first dish was Beng Thin Prosperity Yu-Sheng. Tossing the Yu-sheng as high as we can, it's amazing to see the bonding and unity of our members as we tossed to a roaring year of abundance 2011.

Crabmeat Fishmaw Soup
The soup was delicious and the ingredients were aplently. All ready for  a second helping.

Cripsy Roast Chicken
A few of us started on the cripsy crackers before we ate the roast chicken. A little on the tough side, the chicken was still tasty.

Steam Fresh Sea Bass

The Sea Bass was certainly very fresh and tender meat.

Steam Fresh Prawns

A fan of seafood, i couldn't resist the succulent prawns. Absolutely juicy and fresh.

Mushrooms and Vegetables

The sauce added to the flavour of the dish. Good combination of mushrooms and vegetables.

Fujian Fried Noodle

Usually the rice or noodle dish is something I do not look forward to, as I always look forward to dessert. Yet this dish was really tasty. The portion was just nice and it was different from our usual noodle dish.

Longan Almond Jelly

Something sweet to end of the night.
