On 6 April 2013, I was there to witness the church wedding of Vicki and Daniel at church of the Holy Spirit. When Vicki first asked me to be the coordinator of both the wedding and the lunch, without hesitation, I said Yes. I met Vicki at Silent Retreat 2 years. She has been a dear friend. Both of us are able to share and pray for each other.
The sacrament of marriage is so special. The weding vows in particular say it all. In there, we give glory to God through the family. Yes the grass is always greener on the other side. Those who are married have their issues to face. Those who are single, are still searching for that person, prayig that God knows best and surrending to his will. Yet sometimes, it is God's timing not ours. There is always a time for everything. Sometimes, we have found the one, only to let him/ her go because God has other plans or it is not the right timing.
