Gurney Drive

Cheryl and I met for dinner on 3 July 2012. After walking around Suntec, which was under going renovation, we realised most of the restaurants have either shifted or have changed locations. We chanced upon Gurney Drive #B1-0158, serving Penang food, and decided to have dinner there.

Overall the food is good, however the portions are small. Reasonable Prices. What we see on the menu, is half the actual size of the dish. The service is rather slow.
 Malay Mee Goreng ($6.90)
Tasty and the uniqueness of this dish is the use of egg, which is rare. Yet it heightens the taste. Wish the dish can be a bigger plate.
Ever since I came back from Europe, I seem to be trying the local or Asian food
 Rojak ($4.20)
A mixture of fruits. Rojak will never be the same without youtiao
 Cheryl all smiles

 Fried Kuay Teow ($6.90)

 King of Cendol ( $5.90)
Mixing the durian ice-cream with Cendol is simply heavenly. You have witnessed the satisfied look on Cheryl's face after her dessert.

Trust Pat to have fun catching up with friends and exploring food. Stay tuned to more food adventures :)
