The Queen & Mangosteen/ Queens

On 17th April, a Sunday evening, I took a breather from my articles writing and caught up with Jenny for dinner. At Vivocity,we chanced upon The Queen & Mangosteen and had our early dinner there.

Chef's Cup of Soup - mushroom soup

On Sundays, the restaurant served Queen's Sunday Roast. We shared our starters. Jenny ordered the chef's cup of soup. On that day it was mushroom soup. Thick, warm and delicious.

I ordered the salad. Something unusual in their presentation. It feels like having champagne, but with salad instead. Ironically, we ended exchanging our starters. I found my salad bit spicy, hence passed it to Jenny, while I took her soup.

Our dinner

Roasted Rib-eye of Beef

The beef was delicious, tender and juicy. The dish was served with roasted potate, green vegetables, Yokshire pudding and gravy. Thumbs up, I enjoyed my dish.

Both of us had the 2 course meal, which was $28++ each. A cosy environment located in vivocity.

After dinner, we took a walk along the broadwalk leading to Sentosa. Such serenity being able to admire the sunset. It's amazing to be fully present and soak in the beauty of nature.

We headed to Queens located at 6 Sentosa Gateway #01-05 for our desserts. A nice place which give us a sense of royalty.

The hazlenut Dacqouise is a must to try for. Rich chocolate and fine pastry, it is awesome.
