The square is the centre of public life of Zadar , the medieval city today - the site of political debate, and the political debate. The Town Hall, which was built in 1938 faces the square, so does the Renaissance City Loggia built by Michele Sanmicheli in 1565 as the city courts.
There is a 1Town Guard Palace, with a clock tower nearby daring from 1798, which houses the Ethnographic Museum with a showcase of costumes and objects from the entire country.
