Kadriorg Park is one of Tallinn's most interesting features outside the Old Town. It centres on the magnificent 18th Century Baroque palace built as a summer residence for Peter the Great.
For a moment I thought I was transported back to Russia with its beautiful gardens and museums.
The park stretches for 1.5km from its southwest corner to the east.
A picturesque place for a leisurely stroll
It's a pity that we were unable to visit the interior of the place. The guide was just in the hurry to go off. He told us we could we visit the place the next day as we had a half free day, but it was distance from our hotel.
