Our first stop upon arrival at Frankfurt airport was to Nuremburg on May 31, 2012. That was the place of the German Emperors during the Middle ages.

2 June - My personal highlight of the trip - Zugspitze
Loving every moment
Pat with the BMW up on the hill
We took the cable car up and descended via the train. Indeed Zugspitze is Germany's highest attraction at 2962m. Fantastic panoroma view too
Next we proceeded to Oberammergau where it is famous for its frescoes of traditional Bavarian themes, fairy tale or religious scenes and the world famous passion play
Another personal highlight for me - Linderhof Castle our 2nd optional tour. To me, this day is the one with the most memories - packaged with fun with the snow, the murals and finally the amazing castle. I was just soaked in the sights that really made the photographer's day.
June 3 - We drove to Wattens for a visit to the Swarovski Crystal World - amazing display. Yes this is my first time in a dress on my trips.
Pat & her flowers
In Innsbruck exploring the city - went into 3 churches - the architecture in there was simply amazing
4th June - we were at Eagle's Nest. This was an adventure. The most expensive of the optional tour and it rained. Hence battling the cold weather, we walked to the sight after the resort bus dropped us at our destination. Nursing a cough, I had to keep myself warm and also to protect my camera as the raindrops were pitting against us with the wind.
Thankfully the rain stopped in the afternoon. Here we are at Mirabelle Gardens where the Sound of Music was filmed.
Our Tour Group
Pat in the heart of the flowers
In Salzburg
Evening during dinner we were entertained by the 'The Sound of Salzburg' Show
5th June - visited the Salt Mines- this is as nice as the one I saw in Poland -the difference for this one is we slided down 2 slides - wow, what an adventure and such thrill.
Next we boarded a cruise in the afternoon to see the final castle
At Herrenchiemsee Castle
6th June in Munich - City Tour
At BMW outlet - posing with the blue sports car
7 June - Free day - walking around the city square
How time flies, it's back to Singapore. I really enjoyed this trip, a wonderful break with fond memories of the sights and the adventures. We are really blessed with great weather and nice travel kakis. Thank you. Look forward to more travel adventures.
