My Classmates from our DAFF course ( Diploma in Adult Faith Formation) met up for drinks and dinner on 18th February. It was great fun and fellowship.
Glass of Muscat
Plate of cold cuts - Salami, Bresola,Proscuitto, Plain Ham
Our first Stop was a drinks place at No 24 Ang Siang Hill. It was my first time drinking Muscat, a white dessert wine and really like the sweetness. We ordered a plate of cold cuts, which included salami, Bresaola, prosciutto, plain ham. With bread and butter with the cold cuts and our glass of wine, it was just delicious. For the first round, we had Karen, Ana, Kris, Pat and Jeremy.
We were supposed to meet at Chinatown Complex. We caught up with Clement, Violet and Stephanus there. Jeremy had to go in search of Stephanus who landed himself at the bak gua stall - must be post CNY blues :)
Then we headed to the Zi Char Stall called "Hometown Cuisine" unit no #02-153/54 thanks to the recommendation of Ana. She even ordered 2 crabs for us. Yes the crabs have to be pre-ordered. We overheard Clement and Jeremy saying those 2 crabs were just for them. Lucky there was no crab-fight.
Upon arrival, we had a table to ourselves. We proceeded to order the food. These are the dishes we had. Simply delicious, I will definitely want to go back to the stall to eat.
