Gunung Kawi Temple

Rice Fields to the entrance of the temple
Here we are at Gunung Kawi Temple on our 2nd day to Ubud in August 2013

Gunung Kawi is an 11th-century temple complex in Tampaksiring north east of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. It is located near the river Pakrisan.

The complex comprises 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) carved into the cliff face. They stand in 7-metre-high (23 ft) sheltered niches cut into the sheer cliff face.

 Have I shrunk in size?

Long walk back in the hot sun
Such a relaxing view
