Takewaka’s first store opened 28 years ago in Tsukiji, and is known for its great sushi.
As the chain’s first venture outside Japan, Tsukiji Sushi Takewaka finds itself at the Japan Food Town in Wisma Atria. Occupying a quiet corner, the space is both refined yet comfortable with wood accents that give off that distinctive Japanese feel. The food was great but be prepared for the bill on the higher end.
Huiping and I met for dinner in December 2016. It's always nice to catch up with school mates who make time to catch up.
