Feeling hungry, Cara and I decided to order our appetizer, the Millionaire Salad which comprises of duck meat, avocado, egg and vegetables. A tasty and healthy dish.
Cara and Linda each had their respective fish and chip meal. Linda only joined us at 7.50pm after her Japanese Class. The dish looked delicious when both of them sliced up the fish and dipped the fries into the chilli sauce.
For a change, I decided to have the baby back ribs (pork), served piled up in a stack with mash potatoe underneath, with a sprig of rocket salad as the token veg. The meat was firm but came off the bone easily, could do with more sweet honey sauce though. I still prefered the ribs at Tony Roma.
We ended the evening with a selection of Mud Pies to choose from and it was none other than Love Bug. Shared among the three of us, Love Bug is simply delicious and not too sweet. It's a mixture of hazelnut, mocha & Irsish Cream ice-cream. Very chilled and yummy!
I had an enjoyable Saturday Evening. Look forward to the next gathering in November 2010. Happy Birthday Linda.:) Jo, here's to a speedy recovery.
