Candlenut

The world’s first Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant, Candlenut takes a contemporary yet authentic approach to traditional Straits-Chinese cuisine. At Candlenut, be treated to a spread of dishes under the very capable hands of chef Malcolm Lee, one of the few Singaporean chefs to have won a Michelin Star.
All set for the Peranakan dinning

Portions are manageable, to experience the spread of dishes, go for the omakase menus. Candlenut offers omakase-style menus for both lunch and dinner. Lunch goes at $88++ for 10 dishes while dinner goes at $128+ for 14.

We been to Candlenut for lunch for the ala-carte menu. This year for Anthony’s birthday in the month of March, I decided to treat him for the omakase dinner. The spread was good. Thank you for the birthday experience.
