It is always lovely to catch up with ex-colleagues. Thankful I managed to catch up with Jon and Shiyi in the month of July 2021. Here we are at Elemen with our five course meal.

Chapter 55

Steak

We love Chapter 55 located at Tiong Bahru. However the recent visit in the month of July, I was slighted shocked three dishes we ordered was around $90 plus. The food is good. However if we compare value set mealz or 1-1 offered by card promotions, dinner was pretty pricey.  F&B outlets really need to seriously consider are there promotions you can attract customers considering that we too can order food online, or cook at home. High prices will just turn away your customers.

Crystal Jade Dine In

I love chinese food, especially so on a Sunday lunch with dim sum at Crystal Jade Dine in at Vivocity in July. Comfort food and such a blessing to be able to dine at the restaurant itself.

Peranakan High Tea @ One-Ninety Bar

Peranakan High Tea on Labour Day.

When we heard that Four Seasons Hotel was collaborating with Candlenut to curate a Peranakan High Tea, we could not resist to book for high tea. We had to be put on the waiting list, and we were certainly delighted to savour nostalgia and heritage of Peranakan cuisine at One Ninety Bar at Four Seasons on 1 May 2021.

Sunday lunch
