Amanusa

Amanusa sits on a garden hillside in southern Bali, overlooking the Indian Ocean and Nusa Dua, Amanusa (peaceful isle) is just 20 minutes from Denpasar Airport. A serene retreat offering privacy and escape, Amanusa is also close to Bali’s shopping and nightlife areas of Kuta, Sanur, Legian and Seminyak.

Amanusa’s colonnaded, open-air entrance hall is lined with baskets of white tuberoses. Framing the marble-floored foyer is a large teak-wood sculpture illustrating scenes from the Ramayana, the epic Hindu poem. Amanusa’s 35 thatched-roof suites enjoy a sensuous tropical setting and consummate privacy. Walkways connect the suites to guest facilities and offer easy access to the neighbouring golf course and the Beach Club, located ten minutes away on the coast.
The large 30-metre pool is bordered by a bougainvillea-covered trellis and a high paras-stone wall on three sides. The Terrace restaurant and The Bar overlook the pool from the right and left sides, while The Italian Restaurant is situated in a secluded spot behind the pool, its entrance courtyard framed by flowering frangipani trees.
