TGV - France High Speed Train

It was time to board the TGV, France's high speed train from Paris to Cannes. Henry was sharing with the tour group how to pack our shopping stuff into our luggage, the 45 degree slant in the elegant way. We managed to find a spot at the train station to pack our shopping loot into the luggage. The train was slated to leave around 4 plus. We were there to an hour earlier. The boarding platform was only announced 30min before departure. Taking train rides are certainly very exciting. (I must have watched too much Harry Potter movies :)

TGV - Thanks to Henry, our guide for arranging for a later departure. We packed and had our dinner on the train. A journey of around 5 hours. The heavy luggage was on the lower deck, while the lighter luggage was on the upper deck. Henry kept a watch for us at the lower deck on our luggage. He also came up on the 2nd deck at times to chat with the group. Do we remember the "SQ service" from Henry - wet towels and peanuts :) Thanks. This is the first time I have encountered such service from a tour guide - the detailed and attentive guide :)
