Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Mushroom
A house favourite. Mixing a harmonious blend of garlic and olive oil, chilli flakes and basil with a quarter of mushroom varieties, sauteed with a dash of white wine.
Spaghetti with Mussels
Half dozen New Zealand mussels in a tomato based Pomodoro sauce. Pan sauteed with onions, garlic and basil
Belly Dancer (Pork Belly Confit)
Slow cooked for 8 hours in a confit of its own juices. Pan fried on order to ensure a crisp crackling skin. Served with pineapple salsa and pumpkin mash

Daffies
It was an enjoyable Monday evening, being in the company of daffies. Such great fellowship and were we blessed with a wide selection of delicious food. Joan Bowen Cafe is indeed a place to visit and also for a good cause.
