I met Samantha at City Hall on 30 January 2012. She brought me to Timber@ The Substation. It was a Monday evening. An open-air area, the place was located at 45 Armenian Street.

The food was tasty. However the service was extremely bad. I was having a glass of warm water. When Samantha wanted some water, she was given a small paper cup and was told to fill up her own water. ( To think we are paying service charge and we get such service from the staff). We had our dinner and we were chatting, when the waiter came up and he just shoved the bill at us. Very rude. When we asked to see the manager, he had his own attitude and did not care for feedback.

Well, we know that will be our first and last time to Timber. Service plays an important in the hospitality industry.
