A day after I came back from my silent retreat, thankfully no jet lag, I was whisked off the next day to celebrate Shujuan's belated birthday on 11 December 2011. The place was Bistro du-Vin, located at 1 Scotts Road, #02-12 Shaw Centre. Bistro du Vin is a charming little french bistro by the Les Amis Group at Shaw Centre facing the Pacific Plaza. We had the 3 course set lunch menu at $30++.
The place - worth a visit :)
Vine-ripened tomatoes with spanish air-dired funa, pesto baisami and fruity Olive Oil
(Xiuling Dish)
Salted cod brandade on toast, soft boiled egg (Pat's starter Dish)
Pan seared Foie Gras (SJ & Ms Chew dish)
SJ - Char Grilled Aus Angus Ribeye with green asparagus (Juicy steak)
Ms Chew - Roasted Spring Chicken ( we love the mushrooms and the chicken was tender)
Baked Norwegian Salmon
Pat and her love for fish - either Salmon or cod fish usually for main course. The brain food :)
This dish was delicious, coupled with the mash potato - Thumbs up.
Nice presentation - very Colourful
