Pat at Changi Airport
12th December 2009 was our flight to Cambodia. It was an afternoon flight which was less than 2 hours to reach our destination.

Our first taste of Cambodia food for dinner. Quite similiar to what we have in Singapore, just our package from Chan Brothers tried to provide us with chinese meals throughout the trip.
Prior to dinner, on arrival in the afternoon, our first stop was to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas. We enjoyed a traditional wooden boat ride on one of the largest lakes in Asia, Tonie Sap Lake also known as the 'Great Lake' of Cambodia
Floating Village
Can you imagine all the houses are on this lake. People travel by boats just to get across, some even swim across. The life they lead, makes one reflect on how we lead our lives in Singapore.
How often do we slow down in life just to appreciate mother nature, and to spend time with the people who truly matters to us. How and who spend how time with, reflects our values and the priorities that we set in our lives.
So peaceful
This is how one travels - can you imagine doing this daily?
Where the children study
Beautiful shot of sunset - Cambodia gave me the opportunity to take shots of life and made me realise how blessed I have been. It was also a trip that changed my mindset of life.
After dinner we proceeded to Siem Reap Town Hotel for 2 nights stay. It was more like a 3 star hotel. The next day was pretty exciting.
