For this year's birthday celebration in the month of January 2023, I only celebrated with family and 2 groups of friends as birthday was near the CNY period. Here we are at Spago located at Marina Bays Sand.

Kitchen Table @ W hotel

Supper Club Dinner Buffet at Kichen Table located at W hotel was an international semi ala carte buffet priced at $88++ with free flow of juices, coffee and tea. The location itself at W hotel is relaxing and had a fantastic spread of food. This was HSBC 1 for 1 wow deals in the month of March 2023.

The dessert section is a must try. Food is nicely plated and if you have a sweet tooth, you will be delighted with this spread.

We certainly enjoyed dinner and thanks to the 1-1 promotion. W hotel is a place worth visiting especially when you are celebrating a special occasion.

Greek Mythology Museum (Jeju)

We had a packed day in Jeju. Our first stop is Greek Mythology Museum. I never knew there was such a museum in Jeju.

The museum itself is modeled after classical Greek architecture. As we enter the Greek mythology museum, replicas of ancient Greek statues and famous paintings depicting scenes from Greek mythology greeted us. 

This gallery is known to be the Love Gallery - set in very garden like landscape and romantic settings.

 

Yongduam Rock (Jeju)

Being able to travel after three years has truly been amazing. My first trip was to Korea during the March holidays. My last trip to Jeju was in 2009. The weather was cold, but thankfully able to withstand the cold with the layers and jacket. Besides Yongduam Rock and the palace which I have seen before the rest of itinerary was new to me.

Here we are at Jeju after a flight to Seoul and then a domestic flight to Jeju. It is lovely to see Yongduam Rock again for me. 

Yongduam rock is a large rock formation shaped like a dragon's head. A volcanic rock that was created from an eruption about two million hyears ago with 10m high and 30m long.

After dinner and checking in to our hotel, I was so exhausted due to the lack on sleep on the plane, I was asleep the moment my head hit the pillow. Stay tuned to more Jeju adventures.

 

Verandah@Rael

We discovered Verandah@Rael that serves peranakan food located at TripleOne Somerset in January 2023, when we were given a complimentary voucher. The voucher included two drinks, three mains, and two desserts. We only paid for the kueh pie tee.
