Sufood (Raffles City)

For a taste of vegetarian food, why not head down to Sufood located at Raffles City. This is my 2nd time at the restaurant. Together with Anthony, we had the 4 course dinner.

AONE ( Tiong Bahru)

Weekday dinner with hubby is usually something I cherish, especially when he has such a busy schedule. Here we are at AONE at Tiong Bahru Plaza for dinner.

 Fruity Tea which gives a cool and calming effect. Quite therapeutic feeling just looking at the tea pot with tea.

Citadel Museum ( Gozo)

 Around the Cathedral, we found the museum, where we saw many religious items, some were donated by people. Very impressive set of collection.

Cathedral of the Assumption (Gozo)

 

The Cathedral of the Assumption is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the Cittadella of Victoria in Gozo, Malta. The cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. The road opposite St James's Church leads straight up to the Citadel. Climb to the shaded area for a view of the massive fortifications and the cathedral. 

 Designed by Lorenzo Gafa, the church was built between 1697 and 1711 on the site of a temple dedicated to Juno. The cathedral is built in Baroque architecture. The  groundplan has the shape of a Latin cross.

 The interior of the cathedral is well-proportioned, containing pilasters raised on tall platforms. The building has an aperture for a dome, but this is roofed over with a flat ceiling containing a painting.

The church with its charm and simple beauty gives one a magnificent feeling and a closeness with God.

Piazza Cafe (Gozo)

On 7 July 2017, the final day of our Malta trip, here we are having breakfast at the square near where our apartment was located. We packed our stuff and with just 4 hours left to visit Gozo. The plan was to visit Citadel.

Anthony had his big Breakfast ( the Gozo style) comprising of meat, baked beans, cheese, mushrooms, egg and bread.

I had the club sandwich with chips. 

After a heavy breakfast, we were all set to soak in the sights of Gozo of what's left for our trip.

Hi-Tea Mandarin Oriental (Hong Kong)

I was given a treat by Eunice at Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong. It was certainly a delightful experience after our shopping of goodies. We had to make a reservation for hi-tea.
