We celebrated MIL's birthday at Lao Beijing in June 2022. A family dinner. It was good to see Victor and Nick. We were impressed with the chef's creativity and the classic Chinese cuisine dishes that we ate at Lao Beijing

Blue Ginger (Great World City)

On National Day this year, we went to Great World City and randomly found a place for lunch. Here we are at Blue Ginger for Peranakan food.

 That's how we spent our national day - lunch and back home to watch the parade on TV.

Origin Grill and Bar

On Anthony's birthday in March, I treated him to dinner at Origin's Grill located at Shangri-la. The food was good, can't say much of the noisy atmosphere of a pair of screaming kids, seated opposite us whose parents did not bother of them, just let them run around the place and make so much noise. Anthony remarked the bar next door was less noisy than the fine dining place where we were.

Nassim Hill

A place for brunch/lunch, how about checking out Nassim Hill located at 56 Tanglin Road, which we did on one of the Sundays. We were lucky to get a place despite not making a reservation.

A cosy atmosphere for a relaxing Sunday, delicious food. We will definitely be back.

 

Taiwan Porridge @ Coffee Lounge

Thanks to HSBC Wow deals, I brough mum for Taiwan Porridge at Coffee Lounge located at Goodwood Park where we had 1-1 lunch on 14 June 2022. Mum thought it would be unlimited servings of porridge. We were surprised by the options of dishes.

We certainly had an enjoyable meal. Definitely will be back for dining at Goodwood Park. Thank you for the memories.
