PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay reopened in end of 2020 as a “garden in a hotel” is BCA Green Mark Gold-certified. The new 575-room Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay is fitted with low-emissivity glass that lets in natural light while minimising solar heat and ultraviolet rays, as well as having recycling bins in every guest room, among others.

Stepping into PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, I really love the “garden-in-a-hotel” concept, the first of its kind in Singapore. 

I was so amazed to hear birds chirping. Such a surreal moment.

It's been ages since we visited Stranger Reunion. There are more cafes along Kampung Bahru. Strangers Reunion has taken a smaller unit and has a smaller menu.

TCC (Vivo)

It was round 2 for us after our dinner at Sea Breeze located at Keppel Club. Kids wanted to get books at Popular so we went Vivo and then we adjourned to round TCC. I think the adults were still hungry.

Love the food, cosy environment and reasonable prices.

Three Point Two

Located at 85 Kampong Bahru Road, we chanced upon Three Point Two after our dinner at Firepit. The café located directly opposite Singapore General Hospital, is opened by Pang Zi Durian.

The cafe offers both gelato and durian desserts. Do you know “Three Point Two” is equal to “16 degree Celsius”, the café’s ideal temperature for storing gelato on the display counter.

If you are a fan of durians, you have to try the assortment of durian desserts, which we did. 

We had the platter comprising D24 Durian Puffs, D24 Durian Mochi, Durian Mousse and Mao Shan Wang Craquelin Puffs. Super delicious. 

The durian mousse was extremely smooth

So much to try, we will definitely be back to try the other desserts.

 

Hoshino Coffee (Vivo)

Tucked at the corner of vivo city, we had our dinner at Hoshino Coffee, which I enjoy their pancakes. We chanced upon the brunch course, which we had for dinner.

There was a 10% discount which we had to ask the staff.
