 After our shopping and walking we had an early dinner at Greyhound café. A great place to relax, people watch  and enjoy the spread of food.

Breakfast at Hotel Clover (BKK)

 For our recent trip to Bangkok in October 2017, we stayed in Hotel Clover Asoke, our 2nd time stay for this year. Love the hotel as it is conveniently located. Situated 400 m from Asoke BTS Skytrain and Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, Hotel Clover Asoke offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi access.

 Here are the 3 days of breakfast that we had.

Holy Redeemer Church BKK

 

Holy Redeemer Church in Bangkok, Thailand is a Roman Catholic church established by the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. It is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bangkok, part of the province of Thailand.

The Parish of Holy Redeemer was established by the Redemptorists in 1949. The church itself was  built in the traditional Thai architectural style.

 The church is located in Soi Ruamrudee, off Phloen Chit BTS Station, close to the foreign embassy district in the city.

  The church celebrates mass daily with separate services in Thai and English. We managed to attend the English mass on Sunday.

Here we are on a Friday evening at the newly renovated Cherry Gardens at Mandarin Oriental in August. There were brighter lightings with excellent service and delicious food.

For Dining Society Members, there was a 20% discount that period in August.

 Located at Silom Complex, 2F, Silom Road, Bangkok 10500, Thailand - Baan Ying Café food is affordable but the service is slow.

Celebrating Mum's Birthday at Swensens

Being a Cool Rewards Member at Swensens certainly has its perks. On Mum's actual birthday in August, the birthday gal actually requested to celebrate at Swensens due to its complimentary firehouse ice-cream only on the actual birthday. There are always the executive set lunches which is always attractive with  free ice-cream, side or drinks with the purchase of a meal.

Jade - Fullerton Hotel

 One of my favourite dining places has to be Jade at Fullerton. Here we are at Jade in August celebrating Mum's birthday. We took the buffet Dinner.

 The sauce is simply addictive 

It was a special and joyous occasion. However it was affected by an unpleasant experience when all three of us had stomach upset. I took this up to the F&B management who initially brushed off the matter saying no one else was affected. I just kept quiet as I was badly affected the following day. At the end of this incident, the hotel gave us a complimentary dinner at Town.
