When we are at Vivo and want some Mexican food, Barrio by Mex out is the place we will head for dinner. Usually we will add $4.50 each for 1 drink and 1 side.

 On 1 August, I headed down to Suntec to meet Joyce. Still battling the discomfort of the rashes, decided to make time to see the doctor. It's always a delight hanging around friends who are a great company. Here we are for some local delights.

 Here we are on a Sunday Afternoon in July catching up with FB, whom I personally haven't seen for over a year. Great catch up and very happy for him when he shared with us his happy news. Thank you for the lunch treat.

For our recent trip to BKK in October, we treated ourselves to an exquisite experience in Bangkok’s famous tea room - Erawan Tea Room at the Grand Hyatt.

 

Erawan Tea room has been selected as one of the top five restaurants in Bangkok and “one of the world’s best high teas” by Lonely Planet.

Joan and I took a set of afternoon tea at 650bhat ++ and paid for an extra drink. The portion was just nice.

We love the unique dining experience combing the best of Thai and western cuisine. Definitely more hi-tea adventures when we next visit BKK.

 As we were having our lobster meal at Pince and Pints, there I was telling my good pals KC and PC who live in the East my delight on finding the lobster place. KC, then told me he was just living opposite to where we were dining. We asked him to join us for coffee/cakes. PC had to work that day, early school day. So here we are round 2 with KC.
