Jack's Place

If there is a place for set meals and value for money, why not consider Jack's place? I brought my mother for lunch at Jack's place Great World city. Apparently, there is a change of staff and service is much better and so much faster.

Crystal Jade ( Jiang Nan)

One of the simple joys of spending family time with my mother is taking her out for meals. For someone who is used to eating at home, now she looks forward to our meals when we dine out. Mum's first time to Jiang Nan, located at Vivocity.

Shrine of Remembrance

 Located in Kings Domain on St Kilda Road, Melbourne, the Shrine of Remembrance is Victoria’s largest and most visited war memorial of National Significance. It is Melbourne’s most recognised landmark.
It was built in remembrance of those who served and those who died in the Great War of 1914-1918.
 
 
 
 
The Shrine of Remembrance was built between July 1928 and November 1934 in remembrance of the 114,000 men and women of Victoria who served and those who died in the Great War of 1914-1918 - 89,100 of them served overseas and 19,000 did not return.
 
 
 
 
 
It is a site of annual observances of ANZAC Day (25 April) and Remembrance Day (11 November) and is one of the largest war memorials in Australia.

Block Arcade - Melbourne

 
Block Arcade is a heritage shopping arcade in the central business district of Melbourne, Victoria. Melbourne's Golden Mile heritage walk runs through the arcade.

State Library of Victoria

 
The State Library of Victoria is the central library of the state of Victoria, Australia, located in Melbourne. It is on the block bounded by Swanston, La Trobe, Russell, and Little Lonsdale streets, in the northern centre of the central business district. The library holds over 2 million books.

The grassy lawn in front of the library's grand entrance on Swanston Street is a popular lunch-spot for the city's workers and students at the adjacent RMIT University.
 
The La Trobe Reading Room
Opened in 1913, the landmark Domed Reading Room, was designed by Norman G. Peebles. Its octagonal space was designed to hold over a million books and up to 600 readers. 
 
The dome was the largest of its type in the world on completion.
